PTA Core Values

Coolidge Elementary School PTA Core Values
  • We are committed to the well-being of all children.
  • We believe every adult has a responsibility to ensure that all children develop to their full potential.
  • We believe parents are children’s first teachers and that parent involvement is essential throughout a child’s educational experience.
  • We believe that family is the basic unit of society responsible for the support and nurturing of all children and recognize that family may be defined in many ways.
  • We believe our responsibility includes advocating for the safety and welfare of all children and the opportunity for a quality education.

Coolidge PTA Goals
  • To promote the welfare of Coolidge school children both at school and at home.
  • To foster cooperation between parents and teachers in the education of Coolidge students.
  • To provide programs and materials which enrich the school experience for Coolidge students.
  • To support Coolidge students’ intellectual, physical, social and moral development.

Each year, in addition to these goals, the Coolidge PTA establishes a major focus. Previous years’ foci included: science enrichment, art enrichment, refurbishing playground equipment and classroom garden beautification. Focus goals are selected based on feedback from Coolidge PTA membership. Your ideas, opinions and feedback are invaluable!
