We are celebrating International Indigenous Day today. Come to school dressed up in a traditional outfit from your own or another’s culture, or come dressed in blue and white. We will have an assembly with a guest speaker who will educate students on our local Gabrielino-Tongva culture. During lunch students will have the opportunity to participate in different dances. The PTA has purchased a selection of books celebrating different cultures. Thanks to the PTA for sponsoring this day.
