Sad News Regarding The Passing Of Kristen Follen

On Monday, December 14, our beloved office manager Kristen Follen passed away peacefully at home. She was an important member of the Coolidge community for years, both as a parent and a member of staff. Kristen’s impact on Coolidge students, staff, and families was immeasurable. She will be missed. Please keep Kristen’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

For members of the community who would like to express their condolences to her family, her son and daughter (Jack and Alex) and wife (Leticia), letters or postcards can be dropped off at school outside the main office. Please include a fond memory, a funny story, or simply words of comfort.

There will also be a poster set up on the marquee if you would like to write a message.

Guidance counselors and other supports will be available to students if they feel the need to talk to someone.

If you would like to offer your child some additional support, the following members of our school team are available:

Natalie Quintero, school psychologist: quintero_n@sgusd.net
