Welcome to Room 4!
Hello and welcome to Room 4! My name is Shannon Cloe, and I was born in Denver, Colorado. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and my husband and I moved to California in 2012. I currently live in Altadena with my husband, daughter Ivy, and dog Buxton. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2010. I taught fifth grade for two years in Las Vegas and worked at McKinley Elementary School in The Learning Center for one year. I taught fourth grade at Coolidge for five years and third grade for six years, and this is my first year in second grade. I couldn't be more excited!
Traveling is one of my favorite pastimes. Vietnam, Italy, Japan, and Costa Rica are some of my favorite places to visit. I also enjoy reading, coffee, movies, and spending time with my family and friends. Libby is my favorite app to find new books! My favorite movie is Lilo and Stitch, and my all-time favorite book is The Giver by Lois Lowry. I am looking forward to this school year!
