PTA Membership

General Membership
PTA membership is a wonderful first step in becoming more involved in your child’s formal education. As a Coolidge PTA member you will be part of an informed team of individuals working on behalf of all children and youth. As a Coolidge PTA member you are eligible to serve on the Coolidge PTA Board and you openly demonstrate your support of the PTA and its mission in serving the welfare of all children.

Volunteer Opportunities
With nearly 40 different committees and a multitude of behind-the-scenes activities, there are numerous opportunities for every parent to get involved in the PTA. The Coolidge PTA values the cultural diversity of our students and recognizes the challenges of dual-career and single-parent families. To address the needs of parents who do not have the opportunity to volunteer in traditional ways, we also offer customized volunteer options (e.g. doing projects from home, translating written materials). The Coolidge PTA knows that its strength comes from the rich cultural and social diversity of its members. Please let the children benefit from all you have to offer…

Chairperson Positions
Becoming a PTA member opens up leadership opportunities, and builds skills in communication and advocacy strategies. Members who are willing to get involved are a valuable resource for starting and maintaining programs and projects to benefit children, youth, and the community.

Each PTA activity or event requires volunteers willing to lead. Involvement opportunities abound, whether you want to take on the chairmanship or just assist.
